This Chanel Classic Double Flap is crafted from buttery soft lambskin leather, featuring gleaming gold hardware. The Chanel double flap will forever be one of the most iconic bags in the world, showcasing Chanel’s DNA and brings together history, luxury, and craftsmanship which is why it’s as popular today as it was when it first launched.

The Chanel Flap bag was originally designed by Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel back in 1955. It was born out of her annoyance with having to clutch onto her purse all night, so she added a strap to free up her hands. It was redesigned in the 1980’s by Karl Lagerfeld to include the now-iconic CC turnlock. These bags are referred to by Chanel as part of the “Timeless Classic” collection and there’s something quite magical about owning one.
